Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3 University, is part of an old and prestigious academic tradition as Montpellier School of Medicine, founded in 1289, was one of the first in Europe, and promotes its humanist values and the diversity of education in its core disciplines: Arts, Literature, Languages, and Social Sciences. Its campus (listed as «Architectural heritage of the 20th century » provides a pleasant and friendly environment for its 21 000 students, 18% being international students, and offers high-quality facilities for teaching, research and culture.
The university offers courses at undergraduate, master and doctoral levels, putting a strong emphasis on both the quality of teaching and the employability of students.
