ISIPCA is the French leading graduate school of the Greater Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, dedicated to higher education in Business and Science in Perfumery (Fine and Consumer Fragrances), Cosmetics (White and Colored Cosmetic Products), and Food Flavors. It was created 50 years ago by Mr. Jean-Jacques GUERLAIN, a descendant of the founder of the iconic House of GUERLAIN, headquartered in Paris.

ISIPCA is located in Versailles (famous royal city around Paris), Paris (French capital city of luxury), and it offers some courses in Grasse (the world cradle of perfumery on the French Riviera).

ISIPCA provides French and English-taught Undergraduate (post A-level equivalent), Graduate (post Bachelor's Degree) and Postgraduate (post Master's Degree)

Every year, ISIPCA hosts about 600 students including 27% International Students from over the world. Its Graduate and Postgraduate Programs welcome about 40% International Students.

ISIPCA provides French-taught and English-taught Undergraduate, Graduate and Postgraduate Programs in Business BtoC and Business BtoB, and Science in Fragrances, Cosmetics and Food Flavors, as:

Two or three-year English-taught Graduate & Blended Learning Programs -
Post-Bachelor's Degree
  • EFCM – European Fragrance and Cosmetics Master, in partnership with the universities of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (1st year France) and Padova (2nd year in Italy)
  • MSc in Scent Design and Creation in partnership with IFF Inc., American leader in Fragrances and Flavors

One-year English-taught Postgraduate & Blended Learning Programs -
Post-Master's Degree
  • MSc in Fragrance Expertise – Formulation & Applications, in Versailles and Grasse
  • MSc in Cosmetic Expertise – Formulation & Applications, in Versailles
  • MSc in Flavoring Expertise – Formulation & Applications, in Versailles
  • MS in Safety Regulation Management of Fragrances & Cosmetics, in partnership with EBI, a French leading Engineering School member of the CGE -Conference des Grandes Ecoles- (Online courses)

All the Full-Time English-taught programs include an internship in a company worldwide.

It also offers English-taught online Short Programs (SPOCs) and on-campus Summer Schools in the French Art of Perfumery, Cosmetics and Food Flavors.

Our full-time English-taught Graduate and Postgraduate Programs enroll students with a Scientific Background, such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Botany and Medicinal Plants, Agri-food and Food Science/Technology/Engineering.

ISIPCA Career Center provides students with many services including a global job board to support them in their internship and job seeking.

Our Alumni Network "ISIPCA Alumni" has 5,000 alumni around the world.

Some of them are entrepreneurs, most of them are practitioners. They work for SME'S or large companies such as Estée Lauder, L'Oréal, Givaudan, IFF Inc., Guerlain, Clarins, Caudalie, Chanel, LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics, or Takasago.

Their job positions include:
  • Fine or Consumer Fragrance Formulator or Evaluator
  • Cosmetic Product Development Coordinator or Manager
  • Safety and Quality Control Analyst or Engineer
  • Food Flavorist / Flavor Technologist
  • Marketing Manager or Analyst
  • Specialized Retailer

Our Faculty is composed of practitioners and researchers with a high-level expertise in Sensory Analysis, Chemical Analysis, Olfactory, Formulation or Evaluation.

Our R&D carries out scientific partnerships in sensory analysis or physico-chemistry, publishes articles and takes part in international scientific congresses and organizes specialized events.

ISIPCA provides students with a cutting-edge scientific platform including:
  • 14 research laboratories
  • Measuring and analytical equipment
  • An Olfactory Hall and formulation equipment

ISIPCA develops international corporate relationships and academic partnerships in Asia and EMEA.

ISIPCA is part of Les Ecoles des Métiers du Luxe with LA FABRIQUE, dedicated to Trendy and Sustainable Fashion Garment, Luxury Leather Goods, Visual Merchandising and Interior Decoration.
